[Palm News = Reporter Woo Jung-min] More than 1,800 vulnerable multicultural groups at home and abroad, including Ukrainian war refugees and stateless Koreans, gathered at the 7th Refugee Hope Sharing Festival held at Ansan Seokho Park.

A number of companies and organizations, including FromBio, G-Mission, Dong-A Otsuka, Hanmi Pharmaceutical, Rp Bio, and Atomy, also participated in the sharing. Items directly connected to the real life of refugees and multicultural families were delivered customized, including clothing, cosmetics, health functional foods, miscellaneous goods, and carpets for children's toys and residential environments.

Cultural events and support from local organizations also followed. Saxophone performances and fan dance performances supported by the Ansan Bitna Church led the atmosphere of the venue, and several organizations, including the Peace Women's Association, also helped create a place of harmony.

The dedication of cooperative organizations and volunteers, who have participated in each episode, has also become a driving force to continue the festival. The NGO G Foundation for International Development Cooperation delivered infant products such as clothes and shoes donated by sponsors, children's English books, diapers, and baby belts to refugees through global life sharing.

Bong Ye-joo, secretary of the distribution business team, who visited the site in person for on-site monitoring, said, "We have deeply felt the complex needs of multicultural overseas classes, and we will continue to work to support more carefully complemented goods in line with supply and demand."

In addition to providing goods, medical care services were also conducted. Students of Ansan University's nursing club "Hello Care" set up a booth to measure the blood pressure and blood sugar of refugees and examine their health conditions.

Park Se-jin, chairman of Hello Care, said, "Through these experiences, we want to deeply understand the multicultural society and recognize that these are our neighbors and use them as valuable opportunities to grow into great nurses."

Global Life Sharing is an international medical relief NGO that provides free medical infrastructure for emergency disaster relief, epidemic response, and public medical system construction in developing countries. In response to requests from governments in 39 developing countries, including Cambodia, Syria, Myanmar, and Ukraine, it provided $75.8 million (106 billion won) to 21 countries 60 times.

In Korea, it is continuing its activities to deliver consolation goods to military units along with support for overseas refugees, multicultural families, and vulnerable local governments.

Shin Eon-hang, chairman of Global Life Sharing, who organized the event, expressed his deep gratitude to companies and organizations for their steady support, saying, "We hope that foreign refugees and vulnerable people suffering from wars and others will gain courage and live happily in Korea."
