Support for Syria's medical infrastructure expands, shipments of 3.5 billion won worth of medical supplies
Global Life Sharing Announces Additional Support Plan for Ethiopia

[Palm News = Reporter Woo Jung-min] Global Life Sharing (Chairman Shin Eon-hang) and Mirae Ansan (Chairman Yoo Jae-myung) held a second shipment of medical supplies for Syrian medical support at the Ansan Bitna Church venue at 11 p.m. on the 1st.

The shipment was carried out in January 2025 after receiving an official request for support from the Syrian Provisional Government Health Minister, which included a total of 3.5 billion won (US$2.45 million) worth of medicines and medical devices.

Previously, Global Life Sharing provided 830 million won (US$650,000) worth of medical supplies to support earthquake damage in March 2023. Established in June 2020, the organization has received official letters from governments in 34 countries so far, and has carried out 41 shipments across 18 countries to deliver a total of 55 billion won (US$41 million) worth of medical supplies to developing countries.

In addition to Mirae Ansan Co., Ltd., Dongkuk Pharmaceutical, CMG Pharmaceutical, Huons Life Sciences, You Young Pharmaceutical, Optus Pharmaceutical, and Uuteijin Medicare participated in this medical support.
At the shipping ceremony, Pastor Yoo Ho-seung of Ansan Bitna Church said, "Today's shipping ceremony is touching because Paul's heart toward Damesec (now Damascus) seems to have been conveyed 2,000 years ago."

In addition, Jeon Sang-ho, secretary-general of the African-Middle East Korean Association, said, "Following the first support for earthquake damage, the second support will provide an opportunity for diplomatic relations with the new Syrian government and convey our hearts to the Syrian people through the establishment of medical infrastructure."

Shin Eon-hang, chairman of Global Life Sharing, who hosted the event, said, "It is very rewarding to be able to deliver medical supplies to Syria at the most urgent time. In particular, I am deeply grateful to pharmaceutical companies for donating medical supplies and volunteers who participated in the packaging."

Meanwhile, Global Life Share plans to carry out one more shipment in the second half of the year, and in April it will provide medical aid to Ethiopia, which is suffering from civil war and severe famine.
